One rainy afternoon we took the boys in to Bracebridge to kill some time, wander the strip and get off the island. As the rain poured down, we ran into a greasy spoon, it seemed like a good place to get dry and grab a bite. As we were just finishing up, Kieran grabbed his straw, started chewing on it and said "look, I'm Grampa Claw." Amazing to see the habits kids observe and pick up after spending a week with people. And we wonder why kids turn out to be so much like their parents??? Qball immediately followed suit! (see below)
I started this blog in 2007 as a way for family far and wide to stay in the know about what the Fitz Boyz were up to. As the years have progressed, it has become more of a gift for K&Q, something for them to enjoy as they become adults. It is my hope that they will be able to check out this site whenever they want and share laughs and outstanding memories of all the fun things we did when they are young. Bottom line, I hope they know how loved they are, forever! xoxo Mum

MUSKOKA MADNESS!
After landing in Toronto from France, our laundry room had a solid workout, we attended a Sunday morning birthday party and with less than 24 hours in the city, we had unpacked, repacked and were gone again! We headed up to Muskoka for a week at the cottage which was a glorious way to reconnect after being apart from our boys for a little more than a week. Uncle Connor was the bonus as he was living at the cottage all summer while helping build a bit boat house across the way. Pete was the double bonus as he joined us for our final few days on the island. Fun times!
AUGUST ADVENTURES!
Dave and I have many to thank for the opportunity to have had an incredible adventure this past August. A ginormous thank you to Matt and Jo for inviting us on a journey to Normandy, France with them. We had an amazing time and likely will never be on a holiday such as that again! Mum and Tom (aka. Gramz and Claw) we are so grateful to you for offering to look after the boys, enabling us to get away as a married couple with great friends. And, last but not least to Jally for offering us points to fly there. We recognize and appreciate how much you guys have done and the experience given to us. With gratitude, xo k & d
