WE'VE GOT A 4 YEAR OLD IN THE HOUSE!

Whew! What a hectic 5 days it has been. Kieran appropriately has managed to have FOUR birthday celebrations to celebrate his 4th birthday. His JK class at Annette P.S. had a party for him in the morning on Wed. His JK class at daycare had a small party in the afternoon. Poppy, Nana, Jally, Heather, Doyle, Gramz, Claw, Kieran, Quinn, Dave and I managed to sit down for a big family dinner that night. The culmination was this afternoon. The rocket ship party he has been asking for since Quinn's birthday in July. All of it was a blast! Throw in major surgery for our dog Zaphod on Friday, a dinner party for 8 on Sat. night and the birthday party today! What a weekend! Thankfully it is our midterm break which means we have tomorrow off. The day has been dedicated to report card writing!

The official 4 year old, on his real birthday (11.11). He got the most beautiful toy, a wooden rocket ship from Gramz, Claw, Jally, Heather, Doyle, Mum & Dad. Thankfully Poppy was here to build it! Thanks to everyone. Both of the boys love it and have been playing with it non-stop!

A FUN NIGHT!

Thanks to Claw and Gramz for coming to spend the afternoon and night with Q & K. Dave, Jal and I had a blast at Jarvis and Cindy's wedding. The DJ (Fitz) was phenomenal and we think may have found his new calling...

We're not sure if Fitz is looking so thrilled because he's out for the night, being surrounded by those he loves or because he was just having so much fun!

PUMPKIN FESTIVAL!

I heard about the pumpkin festival that takes place in Sorauren Park in Roncesvalles Village on Metro Morning on Friday morning and was totally compelled to go and check it out. What an incredible sight! The woman interviewed said there were over 2000 pumpkins last year, and I can only imagine there was more this year. People from the neighbourhood and beyond come out and place their pumpkins on either side of the circular path that wraps its way around the park. The number of people was overwhelming and the pumpkin designs stunning! We were so glad we made the effort to go and plan on making this an annual thing!

Quinner thought this one was hilarious! He kept talking about the barfing pumpkin!
