MERRY CHRISTMAS!

We had a fantastic Christmas.  Jally joined us for our annual Christmas Eve low key family time.  Dinner, getting ready for Santa's visit and a late night scotch by the Christmas tree once the kiddies are sleeping.  Gramz and Claw joined us for Christmas morning and then they went off to do their own thing.  Poppy and Nana arrived post naps for more presies and Gramz and Claw came pack so we could all enjoy Christmas dinner together.  A Very Fun Day!  Next year no doubt will be a tad bit crazier as I am certain Quinn will understand all of the happenings then too.  Can't Wait!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!

We celebrated Dave's 36th birthday 2 days before Christmas.  We had a low key birthday celebration due to the fact that we were all fighting a flu bug.  Our best friend Pete came over for dinner and some wine and then our friends and neighbours Lisa and Oriana joined us for a few glasses of wine, cookies and ice cream.  Quinn missed out on the festivities due to much needed sleep, but Kieran managed to hang in for the sweet deal at the end of the day.  Happy Birthday Dave!  We Love You OOODLES and OODLES and OODLES!

PRESCHOOL CHRISTMAS CONCERT

We attended Kieran's class Christmas concert this afternoon, and it was just about the cutest thing I have ever seen.  The kids have been practicing since the end of October and you could literally see the relief in Susana and Angie's eyes (the preschool teachers) when the songs were done.  Hallelujah, they did it!  It was so much fun!  Quinn came with us and loved it too!

SANTA CLAUS

We had a blast going to "The Santa Experience" at Sherway Mall.  No longer do you line up to have a quick minute on Santa's knee.  This Santa experience consists of 30 kids visiting with Santa at one time.  You are there for 35 minutes.  He sings and reads to you, does some magic on the side and is quite engaging.  The kids can be apart of it, without having to go too close if they are scared.  It is quite awesome!  The boys were amazed by the whole thing.  At the end they go to sit on Santa's knee and tell him what they would like for Christmas.  Kieran asked for a BIG RED and BIG LIGHTNING (both characters from the movie CARS).  Santa asked him what he thought his little brother wanted, to which Kieran promptly answered, "A Cow!"

THE HOLIDAY TRAIN IN THE JUNCTION

We had a BLAST on Monday night when we went to see the CP Holiday Train.  The boys loved the music and Santa was a highlight.  This is the second consecutive year we have seen the Holiday Train.  Definitely an annual tradition, especially now that it is stopping in our 'hood'.
