EARTH DAY FUN

These shots are drastically different considering this whole mini kitchen makeover cost approximately $20.00.
Thanks to Grampa Mike for the piece of counter top. The new 'back splash' (bead board) was in our garage. A quick coat of paint and some careful cuts and it looks fantastic! A definite improvement which will get us through the next year, two or three until we do the full renovation of a new kitchen.

The before pics are from our visits to the house after we purchased it but before we took possession. It's amazing what a little paint, new counter top, $6.00 knobs from Ikea, curtain and cleaning will do.

DADDY'S HOME!

Dave arrived home this morning awake and in one piece after flying the red-eye home from Vancouver. The boys were over the moon excited to see their Daddy. Dave brought home hats for everyone. Jally took a pic of all of us wearing our new hats. I'm happy to say we will be packing those hats away to enjoy next winter!!!
